Erne, Ehlers and Richard are the Q 3 Stars of the Week

ehlersAdam Erne, Nikolaj Ehlers and Anthony Richard were named today, the three stars of the week for November 17 to 23, 2014.

The first star of the week is the Quebec Remparts’ forward, Adam Erne. The Tampa Bay Lightning prospect completed the week with 2 goals, 6 assists, a +5 rating and won 75% of his face-offs. Friday against the Sherbrooke Phoenix, Erne scored 2 goals and assisted on Kurt Etchegary’s game winning goal. Erne was named the first star in the Remparts’ 4-2 win. He tallied 2 more points in a 6-4 loss against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Saturday. The Remparts won 6-2 against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, and Erne ended the week with 3 more assists including one on Timashov’s game winning goal. Loiseau, Farrell and Schweri Named Q Stars of the week

the offical logo of the the Quebec Major Junior Hockey LeagueAlexis Loiseau, Kyle Farrell and Kay Schweri were named today the three stars of the week for September 10 to 14, 2014.

The first star of the week is awarded to Alexis Loiseau of the Rimouski Oceanic. In two games, the captain got seven points, including 3 goals. Friday against the Victoriaville Tigres, he started the season with a goal and two assists in a 6-5 win. Sunday, Loiseau continued his good start with 2 goals and 2 assists, which helped his team win a second game, this time against the Quebec Remparts.

Kyle Farrell, the Cape Breton Screaming forward is the second star of the week. In two road games, he got 5 of the 11 goals scored by his team. Friday, against the Moncton Wildcats, Farrell had 2 goals in a 6-3 win. He had his best game on Sunday against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan with 3 goals and an assist to help his team win the game 5-4.

Sherbrooke Phoenix forward, Kay Schweri is the third star of the week. In two games, Schweri got 7 points. Friday, in his first game in the League, the Swiss player got 4 assists on the first four goals for his team which allowed the Phoenix to open the season with a 6-1 win over the Quebec Remparts. On Sunday, he scored his first goal and added two assists in a 5-4 win against the Victoriaville Tigres.
